The above diagrams illustrate basic concepts behind the
2006-2010 strategic plan for development of the GDI Forum and GDI
Foundation, including the relationship with GDI Solutions.
The three organizations serve in different ways the same GDI
market (Global Direct Investment) of executives, professional service
providers, and economic development professionals.
The GDI Forum is a non-profit association of business
leaders [ 501(c)6 ] who support and guide the priorities of the non-profit
GDI Foundation [ 501(c)3 ].
Global Direct Investment Solutions, Inc. is a private
corporation which, among other services to other clients, performs
administrative and marketing services to support the development of the GDI
Forum and GDI Foundation. It functions as a "social entrepreneur
venture", which is a for-profit business with a clear social purpose, with
"social ROI" rather than just financial ROI objectives.
